Reader-Response Analysis: Questions for Consideration

Remember, according to Louise Rosenblatt, the reader's relationship to the text is transactional.  The author's intentions and your own unique world-view interact in order to create meaning.

I have provided a link to a VERY useful essay regarding the Reader -Response Method.  Try not to get bogged down with the literary jargon in this essay, but focus on the points that we discussed in class, and use the lists of questions toward the end of the article as a guide.  One section of this article is entirely devoted to the process of writing a Reader-Response Analysis, so...Your Welcome!
